Realized by Studio Giuseppe Tortato Architetti, the intervention was created with the aim of regenerating the building originally occupied by the Ex-Sandvik company by creating a connection with the surrounding urban space, in a perfect dialogue between the original architectural layout and the new needs of those who live in the city, between public and private space. In fact, a specific request from the landscape commission, apt to preserve the forms of historic industrial architecture, led to the decision to maintain the geometries of the pre-existing barrel vaults, which cover about 50 percent of the entire lot.
