An innovative integrated campus focused on energy efficiency and sustainability
Located in the northwest of the city, the former industrial area housed a forging plant dedicated to the construction of special steel components.
From being an excellence of the Italian and international metallurgical sector, the facility now lives on thanks to a massive regeneration project of more than 30,000 square meters, which has projected the building into the future while preserving its original layout, thus transforming the very concept of industry, which from "heavy" becomes a laboratory of ideas.

A landmark of the Milano Certosa District, La Forgiatura is now a multifunctional center characterized by technological innovation, optimization of consumption, flexibility and large green spaces with artificial hills. A true 100% carbon free urban oasis, designed to host the most innovative companies in the global medical, fashion and ICT scene.
In fact, the area includes eight modern buildings, with facades that enhance industrial architecture, designed both for production departments and offices and for showrooms.
With the completion of the project and the subsequent leasing of all spaces to international groups, RealStep has achieved two important goals: efficiently redeveloping the former industrial site and breathing new life into the entire city area, while also generating new demand for office space.
